Now laura has gained a great deal of confedence,she is no longer worried about bullying and knows how to walk away from situations that apear.She has become a person so many children look up to around the area she lives in,known as a fair and resposible person always willing to sort arguments out without violence. In the early months of this year laura was also able to disarm a boy with a knife,due to her learning selfdeffence in class she relised what was happening when the arguments broke out between a group of boys and with quick response she delt with in approprietly. This is something i never dreamed laura would be able to do, laura was put foward for hero of the year award in june by the everning argos an unexpected suprise and pleasureble everning never possily to experience again. This is all down to her teacher Miss Fisher who runs the Mattfiddes school in Eastbourne. She has gained and learnt so much in that year. laura loves matial arts and if she had her way,she would be there everyday of the week. Laura is going through the correct channels training to be an instructor and helps miss fisher whenever possible, as along side her leaving school and going to college to learn about the police force she also wishes to be an instructor of mattfiddes school of martial arts and have her own school. In the past four months lauras younger sister has now joined after watching and joining in with laura at home.She also loves it as much as laura does and has grown with cofedence. Mattfiddes school has given my children so many different changes in there life now, and with a career ahead if wanted. mattfiddes school of martial arts is great,i have and will continue to recomend it to anyone that wishes to change there lives. There's a large garden to sit in with a small patio near the back door. Be aware that if you sit down the bank the serving staff arent allowed to carry the food down to you, you have to go collect it. The view is amazing across rolling hills. Inside is warm and cosy with a family run feeling. The food is astounding, absolutely amazing. As previous commenter says, the only way to get there (unless you live in fletching you lucky sods) is to drive, parking is cramped but we've always found a slot either in the pub car park itself or in the small car park across the road (200 yards away) Very recommended
