Bristol Zoo http://www.welovelocal.com/en/sw/bristol/clifton/tourist-attractions/bristol-zoo-gardens-bs83nw.html#r51345 A great day out for the kids. Plenty for them to look at and see. At times during the day you can see animals up close at the close encouters where staff talk to you about the habitat and lifestyle of the animal. The gardens are beautiful and the paths are easy for push chairs. They list the times that the animals are being fed so you can plan that inot your schedule. There is a good play area there so those more active kids. Staff are friendly and helpful. A fantastic day out.

Just the once http://www.welovelocal.com/en/sw/bristol/clifton/tourist-attractions/bristol-zoo-gardens-bs83nw.html#r31675 only ever been to this zoo once. That was 2 years ago. Didnt know what to expect but i had heard good reviews. First thing is that its in the middle of a college campus, which seems odd, second thing is that parking is a nightmare and we had to park in a side street close to the zoo. That aside, this is a really great day out. Without a doubt, every member of the family had a great time. Had been told that there were exotic animals there, but sadly no elephant or giraffes. Not Longleat, but still a great day,

Gorilliant! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/sw/bristol/clifton/tourist-attractions/bristol-zoo-gardens-bs83nw.html#r11376 I LOVE BRISTOL ZOO! A great day out - The time flies by. Personally I love Monkey Jungle but another highlight has to be the penguins - It's lush watching them swim over your head. I took my 2 year old neice here earlier in the year and she proper loved it - Nearly as much as me! So whatever your age, get down to the zoo, it rocks!

Gotta love the zoo http://www.welovelocal.com/en/sw/bristol/clifton/tourist-attractions/bristol-zoo-gardens-bs83nw.html#r8201 ahhh I love this zoo so much! It is not quite the same now there is no elephant or giraffe but they still have some really cool sights to see (my favourite being the mouse deer!) It is nicest if you visit the zoo on a warm day and spend from mid morning to early afternoon there stopping at the cafe and eating your lunch outside. It's a great day out for anyone of any age!

Great little gig venue http://www.welovelocal.com/en/sw/bristol/clifton/theatres/anson-rooms-bs81ln.html#r5450 If you're new to Bristol and enjoy going to see live bands, you will notice that quite a few are held at the Bristol University Student Union's Anson Rooms. The venue may be small, about the size of your standard town hall, but it provides an excellent atmosphere unrivalled by some of the other venues. I saw the Kaiser Chiefs here just after they released their debut album and I have to say it was in the top 3 gigs I've ever been to. They simply tore the place apart and the Anson Rooms were bouncing that night. If you love a band and they're playing here, get involved! However, beware the drink prices. Ouch!
