Superb

Cute local airport http://www.welovelocal.com/en/sw/christchurch/hurn/airports/bournemouth-airport-bh236se.html#r43164 For such a relatively small airport they fly to lots of great places. It's not like the big London airports when it comes to shops but if you want to go over to somewhere like Dublin or Paris it's the perfect place to fly from and with new destinations all the time it's a hassle-free way of getting away. Friendly too!

Great local airport http://www.welovelocal.com/en/sw/christchurch/hurn/airports/bournemouth-airport-bh236se.html#r42680 I've flown from here a couple of times now and i have to say it was brilliant. They now have flights to loads of locations across the UK and Europe and they also do the odd International flights too to places like New York (only twice a year though with palmair).

The only draw back with the Airport is that the access road can get really busy at peak times and you may end up queued up in traffic for ages, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time.

brilliant local airport! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/sw/christchurch/hurn/airports/bournemouth-airport-bh236se.html#r27498 If you live locally then Bournemouth Airport is ideal - it's not that big so you can turn up, there's never a big queue to check-in, and you can go through to departures (which takes all of 30 seconds to get to!) and then you're right at the gate to your plane already! It's that little local touch that bigger airports just can't match, try as they might! The range of shops/eateries isn't that great but then you're not going on holiday for the cafe at the airport are you?!

Lovely food http://www.welovelocal.com/en/sw/christchurch/hurn/airports/bournemouth-airport-bh236se.html#r26009 I like the food in the airpot but the bar is a bit small considering floods of people go in at one time for the same flight!

They do some great deals on flights and is very easy if you live locally

Where will I go next? http://www.welovelocal.com/en/sw/christchurch/hurn/airports/bournemouth-airport-bh236se.html#r24704 I have just returned form a 2 week holiday in Tenerife and what a difference it made to be able to fly from Bournemouth Airport. Being a smaller airport it took less time to check-in therefore, less hassle! On the way back, from the time the wheels touched the tarmac to walking in the front door at home it was exactly half an hour. Because it's so close it meant we had no problems finding a friend to pick us up. The flight times were also perfect with no late nights or early mornings. Quick, easy and more and more destinations are being added all the time. I genuinely don't know why we need to go up to the London Airports ever again.
