The bar is really friendly and the staff really helpful. I travel up to Brum once a month with friends and always have a great night here. Can't recommend it enough.

After months of renovation, Eden is presented as the newest gay bar on the Hurst Street stretch. Situated right at the end of the gay-run, some lazy boys and girls would say 'why bother-it's too far' - trust me, it's worth the walk ...

Apart from a complete refurb and promises of a really nice garden, Eden provides something a little different for the gay crowd and their admirers.

Live bands appear every so often, the bar staff are charming (and not tiny young things who have no previous human interaction). The sound system is really nice and clear, and when i went, apart from the warm welcome from owners Gary & Cal, I was greeted by a pool table and NO fighting lesbians. Mint!

Give it a whirl, it's cosier than the Village, not so cutting edge as The Loft lounge and a LOT cleaner than your average gay bar. And when I say gay I mean it's nice to see a bar that not jammed to the rafters with teenage girls.
