It may be compact and not that eye catching at first glace but it offers something thats very lacking from Birminghams night life. Its great just for those who want to dance to the DJ's tracks and have a few bevvies but its even better if you stick around for the live bands. It has a great rustic atmosphere, comfy leather couches and a roomy dance floor and all the live acts ive seen here have been great. A must see instead of hitting broad street!

She loves the vast selection of champagnes, they even had her favourite brand, by the glass, which impressed her immensley...I, on the other hand, find it difficult to justify the the spending that much on a pint.

It doesn't seem to fit in with the other more youthful bars in town or the more mature living room type places but for some reason I like it! It's not too loud which is good if you're out with your girlfriends / boyfriend. It's definitely a girly choice and I don't think I could spend a whole evening here but definitely go for a drink!

Its definitley a more 'upper class' sort of place, or snooty if you dont like that kind of thing, its pretentous and i love it.

Its a little more expensive than other pubs, but its what you would expect to pay for this style of bar and restaurant. Ive only had starters and dessert but i can certainly recommend both.

Malmaison is a really classy bar and restaurant... the food is lovely, and there's a great wine list... but it is quite expensive. Still, fab if you're trying to impress a first date or for that special occasion.
