We were told at the time of booking that the table was until 9.30 but we wouldn't be kicked out until we had finished (so fair enough). We got through starters and mains with no problem, but were told at 9.15 that there wasn't time for us to order pudding and so the waitress brought us the bill. We spoke with the manager and the answer was the same...no pudding!!!! I have never been to a restaurant before where I have been refused desert and will not be going back.

The food is very "OK" and the menu is in need of some variation. That said, for it's Mailbox upmarket location, you could do far worse on price and if you're after a quick bite to eat, you can't steer too far wrong.

If you like steak, italian or seafood then they have a great selection of all three on their menu and although it gives the impression of being quite expensive it's actually very good value compared to the standard of food.
